I finally got a chance to resume my walking/jogging today. It'd been about 4 weeks since my last outing, due to bachelor parties, weddings, and a girlfriend. Yeah, a girlfriend.

On the topic of the girlfriend... I guess I had forgotten how differently women's thoughts are wired compared to men, especially in relationships. Every action and word seems to be fed directly into a cloud of emotion, producing whatever weather it may. Words tend to be confusing, and misinterpretation happens so easily. It's amazing how lightning can strike from a clear sky.

I learned tonight that being in a trolley bus in Chicago for a bachelor's party entitles all participants to become totally lewd. It's this magical cloak of invincibility, allowing men to make less-than-corteous requests to random women on the street to perform Mardi-Gras-ish actions...

Good thing I stayed sober to guide the trolley driver, because Tim was stinko halfway into the shindig.

I went to the beach with my roommate and his girlfriend yesterday, for a little Memorial Day sun. I had a very well-crafted plan for applying sunblock in strategic areas and not in others to help even out some of the farmer's tan...

The result: Sunburn.

Apparently, my currently manual garage is being converted to an automatic door, courtesy of my landlords. My life just got 2 minutes lazier.
